Nestled amidst the rolling hills and picturesque villages of the Cotswolds, Southrop exudes a timeless charm that beckons travelers seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At the heart of this idyllic village lies Laurel Cottage, a sanctuary where tranquility and luxury intertwine to create an unforgettable escape.

Heritage England has the cottage listed as being built between 1650 and 1700, making it Grade II listed. Although, the cottage was only brought to life in recent years when the owners were staying at the nearby hotel, Thyme at Southrop Manor, after the second lockdown. They were going for a bike ride around the village when they noticed the property and were instantly drawn to its beauty. A few months later, the property came on the market, so they snatched it up! After a total renovation of the property, Laurel Cottage became what it is today. Where 17th century architecture meets contemporary rustic charm.
